Between April 18th and 27th, Relief International - Schools Online will
teach its first global collaborative project through the five new ILCs.
In this lesson, students from Bangladesh with compare their country's
folklore and oral tradition with that of other participant
countries. The students will research native folktales by asking
their family, friends and community members; they may also turn to the
internet itself for resources. They will record the stories using
Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Finally, they will analyze these
stories with particular attention to the morals embodied in each story
and how they reflect their culture's unique values and traditions. |
