Top students and English teachers at the Rani Bilash Moni Government
Boys Highschool have set up a tutoring program for students having

Trees help stabilize soil and reduce dust during the long, dry season
each winter in Bangladesh. Dust is the enemy of computers.
It gets into the moving parts and causes critical components like
drives and fans to fail. Without the fans, the computers cook in
their own juices, leaving behind a puddle of plastic and metal.
For GYSD 2006, students thought about this issue, and decided that
their next computer upgrade would be green. They planted trees
around their computer lab to both cut down on dust, and in the long

buy paint and brushes to draw a zebra crossing
(pedestrian crossing) on busy road beside their school.

Students at the Rani Bilashmoni Government Boys High School in Gazipur
decided that their 1200 students regularly produce more trash and dust

Youth Service Day, they began their activities in their own school --
picking up garbage, dusting, cleaning the windows, floors, and cobwebs.
They also decided to appoint captains so the school remains in top
shape throughout the year.
