Ahsan Habib Apon, Finance Associate, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Ahsan Habib Apon worked with Finance and Admin section of Relief International Bangladesh Office and responsible to assist Finance Officer and National Finance Manager for smooth operation of the section. Previously, he worked in similar positions in private sector. Ahsan did his graduation from the National University. Apon has fascination for music and likes to compose music and lyrics. He wrote lyrics for some 10 music album.
Nura Zakia Sultana, Cluster Operation Manager, Jessore, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Zakia was the Cluster Field Manager of Jessore and Khulna cluster. She worked with teachers and students at core and partner schools to facilitate intercultural lessons, establish basic computer literacy and promote project-based learning.
Mohammed Ismail Karim Babu, Cluster Operation Manager, Chittagong, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Ismail Karim Babu was the Cluster Operation Manager in the Chittagong office. He coordinates all activities taking places in Chittagong region. He closely works with 15 GCE schools in the region and helps the schools participate in education and technology projects of RI SOL. Ismail makes sure that the schools are involving community in the programs and working towards achieving long term sustainability of telecenters. Ismali did his masters in General History from University of Chittagong in Bangladesh
Mahmuda Afroz, Cluster Operations Manager, Dhaka, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Mahmuda was the Cluster Operations Manager of Dhaka cluster.Mahmuda worked with teachers and students at core and partner schools to facilitate inter cultural lessons, establish basic computer literacy and promote project-based learning. She did a Masters in Psychology from Rajshahi University and completed a diploma in Computer Science.
S.M. Razib Hasan, Cluster Field Technician, Chittagong, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Razib was the Cluster Field Technician in Chittagong cluster and responsible for providing technical support to the GCE telecenters located in the region. Rajib has received extensive training in ICT including hardwires, software and trouble shooting. Razib did a Masters of Science from University of Chittagong.
Golam Ahad, IT Associate, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Ahad was the IT Associate in Dhaka cluster and was responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software and network failures at ILC’s in the Dhaka Cluster. He assists ITO in executing the internet security policy for the Dhaka office and all ILCs in the cluster. He also assists ITO in maintaining the RI BD website. Ahad completed his bachelors from International Islamic University Chittagong. He worked in BTS communication as a network support engineer.
Jennifer Fish, Country Director, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Jennifer Fish joined RI SOL's Bangladesh Country Office in July 2006. She is a Canadian and has been living and working in Bangladesh for almost a year and is joining RI SOL from the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC). Prior to this, Jennifer worked with UNIFEM's Gender and HIV/AIDS programme in their South East Asia Regional Office in Bangkok. Jennifer started her career in international development in New Delhi, India so she is no stranger in the region and she is very excited about becoming part of the RI-SOL team in Bangladesh. Her anthropological background and diverse interests in ICT4D, Gender, HIV/AIDS and poverty reduction are an asset for RI SOL's work in Bangladesh.

Sajeda Begum, Education Officer, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Sajeda planed and supervised implementation of education projects; coordinates with GCE schools, development and localization of education resources. Before joining Relief International, she worked with BRAC Education Program as a Material Developer. Sajeda did her masters and bachelors in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh.
Jack Welch, Country Director, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Jack was originally from New York, but has lived in Bangladesh since June 2004. Previously, he worked with children in a different capacity, as an attending physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he also did computational and molecular biology research. Now, he has turned his attention to international development and childhood education. His interests include open source software development, linguistics, international relations, and amateur radio.
Caitlin Drewes, Program Officer, USA PDF Print E-mail
Caitlin lives in the United States now, but a few years back, she spent two years working closely with a community in Bangladesh as a Peace Corps Volunteer. During that time, she came to know the people, culture and language of Bangladesh. Now she handles the US portion of the Global Connections and Exchange Project, connecting Bangladeshi students and teachers with their counterparts in US schools. She was part of the staff at Schools Online headquarters that develop new projects and curricula for the program, and helped to tailor the program content to the specific needs of Bangladesh.
Russell John, Information Technology Officer, Bangladesh PDF Print E-mail
Russell was the technological linchpin of the ICT4D operations, maintaining not only RI-SOL's office in Dhaka, but literally hundreds of computers in schools through a network of field technicians and talented teachers. His interests include variety of topics including Linux, wide area networking, information security, cross platform development, and more. Russell is well known in the Open Source software community in Bangladesh and abroad.
