The writer had a great impression about the Martyrs who
sacrificed their lives in 1952 To establish Bangla as our mother
tongue. He mainly wanted to make the contribution to the martyrs
ever memorable.

The major events surrounding this incident are that the Pakistan Govt.
illegally made Urdu the state language of Pakistan. This song is
generally associated with the Martyrs of 1952.
