Salient Features of the project PDF Print E-mail
Teachers will be given training as well as the students to conduct the GLOBE environmental protocol measurements and reporting of GLOBE data through several collaborative projects with schools in the home country as well as US, UK and central Asia. All of the environmental projects will end with starting discussion in online Forum where English as a communication medium.

The collaborative projects will be based on the following environmental protocols:
• Atmospheric / Climate Studies
• Soil investigation
• Hydrology studies/ Water
• Land Cover / Biology

The program will begin with the training of the lead teachers and they will train the students for GLOBE protocol measurements. It would be an after school activity and most likely coordinated through science clubs.

The duration of the project is 12 months. This will be an ongoing program along with the regular program with the schools mostly after school hours. The environmental measurement under the project can be done through out the year.
