Gazipur is a district in central Bangladesh. It is a part of the Dhaka Division.Three universities are situated here. These are Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology, an international university Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh National University and Bangladesh open University.
