Last week three GCEP schools in the Comilla cluster namely Chowara Girls High School, Shoilorani and Yusuf Multipurpose technical high school opened the Information Exchange Box received from the students of the John Marshall Middlie High School, Wichita, KS. The boxes had a wide variety of Gifts including games, candies’, pens and pencils, story books, valentines cards, word and picture puzzles, , one- time use camera, Santa clause toys, post cards, cds, play dough, etc. The excitement at unwrapping and viewing the contents of the box was evident in the faces of these young kids. The teachers and the students upon receiving the gifts have decided to start preparing such a Gift box for the children of John Marshall Middle High school.

Meanwhile the recipients of the first Information Box - the Uttar Badda Islamia Kamil Madrassa were ready to send their gift pack which included books, letters, paintings, souvenirs, wall mart, clay pots, pens, key rings, coins, calendar, cap, paper flowers, snack goods, candies, pickle, star magazine, newspapers etc. The box has been sent to the students of the Marshall Middle High School.

Relief International would like to take this opportunity to thank all the schools and the teachers involved facilitating this exchange of Information boxes to promote cross cultural dialogue and collaboration.
