US Schools PDF Print E-mail
Our US school partners were drawn from states throughout the USA and formed small collaborative groups with our Bangladeshi schools. Each school team has committed to a year-long collaboration on interactive projects that encourage dialogue across borders and cultures. The projects address civic education issues such as human rights, minority issues, conflict resolution, volunteerism, civic participation, voting, and institutions of government.

Currently, the following US schools are participating in the Global Connections and Exchange Program:

The Plato AcademyTexas
The Davis School for Independent StudyCalifornia
High Tech High SchoolsCalifornia
Melvindale High SchoolCalifornia
Delcastle Technical High SchoolDelaware
Camino Nuevo High SchoolCalifornia

Some of the schools have made projects about their school during the My_Community Project.

The Global Connections and Exchange Project – Bangladesh is a project of Relief International - Schools Online's Global
Citizenship & Youth Philanthropy Program and has been made possible with major funding from the United States State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Global Catalyst Foundation.
