GCE US Teachers Explore Bangladesh –February 2009 Print E-mail

Two teachers from Illinois and Kansas had a unique experience from 16th to 28th February 2009 while they visited Bangladesh under the Global Connections and Exchange Program. Funded by US State department and implemented by Relief International, this trip was a memorable one for them as they got the scope to interact closely with students and teachers of a nation that is so different from theirs. Packed with visits to schools, educational institutes, organizations working for the youth, camp programs etc, this trip gave them a real insight into the lives and culture of the Bengali people.

Youth and Technology Camp Organized at Proshika Center in Manikganj Print E-mail

Relief International- Schools Online organized a two days long youth camp program at the Proshika Center, Koitta, Manikgonj. About 25 students from 10 schools participated in a series of activities during the program .The camp program was conducted by visiting US exchange teachers from Kansas and Illinois in the the USA. Several local organizations such as Young Power in Social Action also collaborated with RI to organize the camp.
